They loved the natural scenery and beautiful trees.

He imagined people thinking of him as a great person and bowing to him as he walked arrogantly down the street.

To maintain the welcome, he had to occasionally give expensive gifts to the master. As a result, his wealth gradually depleted, and his family suffered at home. Eventually, he received a letter saying that his business had failed and he could no longer send money to Seoul. The news from his hometown worsened. His wife had to sell their house to pay off the debt, and they lived in a miserable shack at the end of the village.

One day, while the butcher went into the shop, he tied him to a low wall. Taking advantage of this, the Woodcutter started to eat the radish plant. As he ate, he turned back into a human.

He returned to the inn where he had been transformed into an ox and stole the fairy’s stick. Then he went to Seoul and used the stick to transform his wealthy relative into a half-human, half-ox. When the relative’s family saw their master’s transformation, they panicked and started calling doctors and shamans to drive away the evil spirits and bad fairies. But despite all their efforts, the man remained a half-human, half-ox.
