A large yellow tiger named White Beard lived in the mountains of Gangwon. He was the proudest tiger in Korea. He was so strong that he could bring down a cow, fight with the dogs of the village, eat people, and was not afraid unless it was a hunter with a gun. He considered calves and pigs as snacks. He could break into a barn and eat a pig straight away, and take another pig to his den.

Only the big, fast, and striped tigers were chosen to carry out the orders of the mountain spirits.

Mister Rabbit knew that tigers liked to play before they ate their prey, and he thought his end was near.
